Instructional Design Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio. Below, you’ll find a selection of projects that highlight my experience in instructional design. Each project reflects my approach to creating engaging, effective learning experiences tailored to diverse audiences and goals.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

This micro-lesson introduces core PPE safety practices to promote workplace protection and compliance. Designed for managers and supervisors, it was created using Articulate Rise 360 and Adobe Stock Photo, applying Knowles’ Andragogy, Sweller’s Cognitive Load Theory, Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory, and Behaviorism to deliver an effective learning experience.

FERPA Training for Educators

This micro-lesson is an annual legal compliance training on the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Designed to train educators on FERPA compliance, it was created using Articulate Rise 360, Adobe Stock Photo, Snagit, and Audacity. The lesson applies Cognitivism (Bloom and Gagné), Knowles’ Andragogy, and Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory to enhance effectiveness.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)

This interactive eLearning module provides an overview of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) and trains shelter volunteers to identify the disease in felines. Developed using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Stock Photo, Firefly, Snagit, and Neural Voices, the module applies Cognitivism (e.g., Bloom and Gagné), Constructivism, and Knowles’ Andragogy to create an engaging and effective learning experience.

Accessibility & AI: Session

This conference session, Using AI to Build Accessibility-First eLearning Experiences, explored workflows and ethical considerations for integrating AI into accessibility strategies, including identifying eLearning challenges, generating alt text and captions, analyzing contrast, and embedding accessibility checks while addressing human-centered review and ethics.
